Women go through a lot of biological changes – be it puberty, marriage, pregnancy or then menopause. Each of these phases is markedly different and the woman’s body conditions changes accordingly. Women during this age need to concentrate more on fitness exercises specifically targeted on the abdomen and hips.  This will be useful in maintaining their health and fitness and ensuring they have a good figure as well.

What women during this stage need to do is follow a simple and regular diet plan – whereby they eat at almost the same time everyday and they eat smaller more nutritious foods containing vegetables and fruits and avoid unhealthy, high calorie foods. There are some foods which act as depressants and women must strictly shoo them away. Regular and routine exercises of simple forms like yoga or aerobics should be followed by menopausal women and this will try to balance out the stress in their bodies as well as helping the women to lose weight that she has inadvertently gained.

Certain works, which were nothing but pure exercises are now done by machines. Nowadays no women do the tiresome works that are once done by them.
